   Mission Statement

The mission of the ATNI Indian Child Welfare Committee is to improve and enhance all social services to Indian Children and families; to assure compliance of States with the Indian Child Welfare Act of 1978; and to provide the membership of the Affiliated Tribes of Northwest Indians with information, recommendations and proposed changes in government policy on all levels regarding Indian Children and Families.
